The Georgia parent/teen driving guide is a resource handbook that gives you suggestions regarding driver training lessons so your teen is that much more prepared to drive safely. Our 30-hour course is DDS-approved and meets all the requirements needed to obtain your Georgia instructional permit (Class CP). You will successfully complete the course by passing with an 80% or greater. At the end of the course, you will be given a 50-question final exam. After you complete each chapter, you’ll be given a 10-question multiple-choice quiz. The information in our course is broken up into 8 chapters, each covering a specific topic regarding driving in Georgia. The Georgia online teen drivers ed program is a state-mandated 30 hours long. If the parent/guardian does not possess a Georgia license or ID card, the teen must present a standard proof of residency document. You need to be at least 15 years old, have the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) card (most Georgia students receive this in 9 th grade), and pass a vision test and a written exam.
